Design and create an original tee shirt - all your own! This class is designed for young artists age 10 + in the elementary and middle school.
July 12 through 15, Pam Meland, local fiber artist, will guide students in creating an original, one of a kind tee shirt. While everything needed is provided, student ideas are welcome and participants may bring pictures to use.
Students will discuss design elements, learn to color cotton material, create their own design and then use a silk screen process to transfer the original design to the shirt. By Thursday their creation will be complete and ready to wear!
Students should wear old clothes or bring an old shirt that may get dye on it.
Please send your teeshirt size to Pam at firstname.lastname@example.org by July 1 so she can order the shirts.
Safety First! Classes will be set up following social distancing guidelines. Your instructor will wear a mask. We will sanitize before and after all events. Please bring your mask to wear.
