Join award winning artist Donna Russell for a 90 minute plein air session at Grayling Community Park (by the pavilion at the Chamber building). As an experienced artist and teacher, she loves to assist students with pastels, water color, pencils, charcoal or whatever your favorite media is. Be prepared to stretch your experiences by creating art outdoors!
Students aged 12 and up are welcome to bring the media and supplies needed to create a unique work in a beautiful outdoor setting. As a retired teacher with a degree in fines arts and many years teaching experience, Donna will provide individual guidance at the appropriate level in concepts such as perspective, color, composition and materials usage.
Please bring whatever you need to create - an easel, a stool, canvas, wood, acrylics, oils, charcoal. Bring water or snacks, whatever you'd like for the 90 minute session.
Four Wednesday afternoon sessions are available. Please register separately for each session. Gallery members may use their promo codes and memberships are still available online and at the gallery. Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25
