Each chair is a one-of-a-kind work of art and is now on display in the window of Artisan Village’s Original Gallery at 122 Michigan Avenue. \nThe auction runs November 1 through November 22\, culminating during the Christmas Walk\, when the winning bids will be announced live on Facebook from Gallery 122. \n\n“Our goal with the chair auction is to celebrate creativity and community while raising funds to support AuSable Artisan Village programs\,” said Radel Rosin\, Executive Director. “By moving to a silent auction\, we hope to make the event feel more like an art experience—inviting people to connect with the work and the mission behind it.” \n\nCome admire the artistry\, place your bids\, and help us continue to grow a thriving creative community in the heart of downtown Grayling. \n\n  \n

Harris’ lyrical and driving fiddle style is inspired by legends like Matt Cranitch and Liz Carroll\, while Whitmer’s sensitive yet energetic guitar work reflects influences like Tony McManus and John Doyle. \nShannon Lee’s name honors their formative experiences in Ireland—Harris studied at University College Cork along the Lee River\, and Whitmer honed his skills at the University of Limerick near the Shannon River.
