As a native of Grayling, Nancy L. (Kolka) Hatfield grew up surrounded by the beauty of Northern Michigan. During the past several years, Nancy has enjoyed sharing her passion of photography and knowledge of digital cameras while teaching Digital Photography for Crawford AuSable School District Community Education’s Adult Enrichment Program and AuSable Artisan Village. While hiking, snowshoeing and 4-wheeling with her husband Jim, Nancy takes every opportunity to capture the beauty in nature with her photography.
“I try to capture the beauty that is Northern Michigan to share with others and I am always looking for that unique shot-not just taking a picture of a deer in the woods, but preserving a moment of a doe nursing her fawn.”
