Michael McGraw produces vintage fish decoy replications. Replications are silicone-cast and then hand-painted, with glass eyes and tin fins added. Hand-carved fish decoys are truly an iconic and unique North American folk art. Their origin can be traced to the Bering Sea as early as 1000 A.D. More recent history shows Native American fish decoys were common in the Great Lakes area in the 1700s. This process accurately preserves and expands a historical art form.
